How Meta Patterns Can Sabotage Your Positive Affirmations

According to the instructional materials accompanying the Crack Your Egg program, Henk Schram sheds light on the underlying flaw that renders numerous self-improvement approaches ineffective. He identifies this fundamental obstacle as one’s meta patterns.

While delving into these educational resources, I reached a section that outlined a particular framework. This framework sheds light on how certain personal development techniques strive to alter one’s ingrained subconscious programming. However, I noticed that none of the suggested activities in the guides tackle the crucial aspect of meta patterns.

Therefore, I’m passing on my insights about various self improvement method and why they often fall short of producing remarkable results.

The Power of Positive Affirmations

A widely practiced method for fostering personal growth and self-improvement is positive affirmations.

Affirmations are among the easiest and accessible self-improvement tool, which is why they are often included in many personal development programs.

According to Remez Sasson, affirmations are constructive declarations that depict a desired outcome, repeated frequently to instill in the subconscious mind and stimulate positive change.

Affirmations are suggested to be stated positively, in the present tense like “I,” “me,” or “my,” and infused with strong emotions. One well-known illustration of affirmations is the Coue Method :

Studies have demonstrated that this approach can have beneficial effects. However, it’s important to note that some individuals have attempted this method and have not noticed significant improvements.

Why do affirmations fail for most people?

Reflecting on the significance of meta patterns in the Crack Your Egg program reveals that influencing the subconscious mind is a more challenging task than it initially seems. The reason lies in the fact that your meta patterns have a profound impact on how your subconscious mind processes and responds to affirmations, either accepting or resisting them.

The way your meta patterns work influences how your input processing responds. Meta patterns impact the effectiveness and strength of your affirmations because they influence this processing.

Here is my perspective on the Matter:

  1. Positive affirmations seek to modify your subconscious conditioning by introducing conscious messages. They work to change your programming by consistently repeating and strengthening positive statements.
  2. Positive affirmations seek to reprogram your inner critical faculties by leveraging external triggers to influence your subconscious mind. This approach assumes that your subconscious can be transformed through deliberate positive messages from the outside world.

In my opinion, I believe affirmations can be effective to some extent. Nevertheless, the issue with affirmations lies in the fact that they can deeply challenge your subconscious beliefs.

For example, an affirmation like “I am wealthy and everything I want will come true because I intend it to be so” is challenging to believe and anticipate. The difficulty in your subconscious accepting and possibly rejecting it is due to your fundamental meta patterns.

While Henk suggests that every person has a unique eggshell structure, may render affirmations effective for certain individuals, but a more comprehensive solution is required to address the needs of the majority who do not respond well to this approach.

That’s why The Crack Your Egg program is designed to supercharge your existing practices by introducing a tailored, structured methodology that amplifies their effectiveness.

In conclusion, affirmations can be effective in helping you achieve your goals, as I do myself by consistently practicing them. However, for this approach to be successful, it is crucial to recognize and address your underlying meta patterns.
